Upcoming performances & collaborations in process

2018 - 2019 - Signs.Sigils becomes Signs.Sigils.ii
After successfully building the solo into a duet, I am excited to continue developing Signs.Sigils.ii through more residencies and to perform in Germany and beyond.
In July, continuing the duet development and researching material for a small group version, we will take Signs.Sigils into a Creative Residency in Tanzzentrale Region Nürnberg e.V.
Signs.Sigils began as a collaboration between Victoria and visual artist McConhall exploring the desire for connection and the languages we use, we make or that we break to express ourselves. First presented as a solo performance in 2017 in "10 times 6" at Ada Studios Berlin. It has now grown into a 25 minute duet, that continues to explore the humorous mishaps and beautiful moments between humans trying to communicate and eventually will become a full length piece.

Or read a review here, of Victoria's initial performance of Signs.Sigils in "10 times 6" in November 2017.

Collaboratively developed between my choreographic approach and Katya Sourikova’s music along with sculptural set design by Maxim Cherynhk. We questions such as “Can angels and satellites coexist in modern thought?” or Have we exchanged worship of angels (or organized religion) for veneration of technology?” January 2019 - Violetter Schnee
